Math Tutor
$12 – $20/ hr (based on experience, qualifications, and education)
Job Description and Responsibilities
Our math tutors must be able to:
- teach students needing math help in small groups or individually
- handle skill based tutoring in Algebra I and II, Geometry
- evaluate students to measure skill progression and determine improvement areas
- support students to develop and meet academic goals
- help students to prepare for tests
- record and report student progress
- attend scheduled staff meetings
- finish and submit necessary documents
- formulate and execute school and student plan with Director
- assist Middle and High School students in Calculus, Pre Algebra, Algebra I&II and Geometry
English Tutor
$12 – $20/ hr (based on experience, qualifications, and education)
Job Description and Responsibilities
Our math tutors must be able to:
- teach students needing English help in small groups or individually
- handle skill based tutoring in reading comprehension, grammar, and essay writing
- evaluate students to measure skill progression and determine improvement areas
- support students to develop and meet academic goals
- help students to prepare for tests
- record and report student progress
- attend scheduled staff meetings
- finish and submit necessary documents
- formulate and execute school and student plan with Director
- assist Middle and High School students in test preparation
SAT Teacher
$20 – $50/ hr (based on experience, qualifications, and education)

Requirements:
- 3rd year college student or beyond
- Successful completion of our rigorous instructor certification program
- Bachelors Degree a + (but not required)
- Teaching Credential a + (but not required)

Substitute Teacher
$15 – $20/ hr (based on experience, qualifications, and education)
Job Description and Responsibilities
Our substitute teachers must be able to:
- be responsible for continuous supervision of students in the classroom
- follow lesson plans effectively.
- be responsible for student academic growth and development in meeting student academic needs by providing appropriate and approved instruction.
- demonstrate sensitivity to various family and cultural patterns in planning and monitoring classroom activities.
- maintain attractiveness and cleanliness of room environment.
- work cooperatively and collaborative with Achieve staff to provide effective learning activities for students.
- supervise pupils in out-of-classroom activities during assigned work-time, and accept responsibility for maintaining behavior standards school-wide.
- maintain standards of pupil behavior needed to achieve a desirable safe learning environment in and out of the classroom
- provide a classroom climate and learning experience that supports the emotional, physical, social, and mental development of the student
- follow all district handbook guidelines and site level regulations/procedures
